Community Involvement

AMR is a company focused on contributing to the community in meaningful, lasting ways. To that end, we dedicate significant company resources toward encouraging and enabling employees to volunteer their time, talents and resources. A few of the examples of how AMR gives back include:

  • AMR’s Community Involvement Task Force (comprised of AMR employees) plans quarterly fundraising initiatives and facilitates ongoing volunteer opportunities for local charities. Over the years, this group has raised money or donated time to the American Diabetes Association, Toys for Tots, Salvation Army Angel Tree, March of Dimes, Ronald McDonald House, God’s Pantry, The Hope Center and many more.
  • AMR’s executive team leads by example by donating annually in cash and company services to nonprofit organizations throughout the community and region. Examples include the Shop with a Cop program, Special Olympics, Children’s Wish Foundation, the UK Children’s Hospital and the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation, among others.
  • AMR has sponsored youth activities and programs, including Lafayette High School Band and Southwest Lexington PONY youth baseball, to name a few.
  • Employee wellness is a focus at AMR. A Wellness Task Force (comprised of AMR employees) works to promote a healthy lifestyle through information, blogs, health fairs, contests and pulling together teams of AMR employees for local running, walking and biking events.
  • Recycling is a priority at AMR, with all employees participating in a recycling program in AMR’s workspace as well as participating in recycling programs on a national scale with organizations like the American Society of Association Executives.

Winner – 12th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky

AMR Management Services is happy to announce that, once again, we have been selected as a winner in the 2017 Best Places to Work in Kentucky program coming in at 8th place. AMR received a top 10 finish in 2015 and 2016 in the small company (15-149 employees) division. AMR is dedicated to providing an outstanding workplace and recognizes this honor as further validation that the AMR way is helping to create an environment that brings the best out of our employees — which is a win-win for AMR, our clients and our team.
