New and Existing Client Growth Drives Hiring of Employees
Lexington, KY – June 30, 2011 -- AMR Management Services (AMR), a full-service association management company serving national, regional and local client partners, is pleased to announce the addition of several new professionals to the AMR team. These new positions are driven both by new and existing client growth.
Debbie Scanish, SPHR, joined the AMR team as director of human resources. She is responsible for employee recruiting, retention and performance alignment. Previously, Scanish was the human resources director for a major nonprofit organization in Louisville. She has a bachelor's degree from Wheaton College and an MBA from Sullivan University.
Elena Moreland has joined AMR as a policy analyst for the National Association of State Procurement Officials. Before joining AMR, Moreland was a research and policy analyst at a major university and spent 9 years in public sector service in Romania. She holds a master's degree in public administration from the University of Kentucky.
Lisa Thompson joined the AMR team as programs and education coordinator for one of AMR’s fastest-growing association partners, the National Association of State Procurement Officials. She has more than 12 years of experience with a large travel-related association and is an honors graduate of the University of Kentucky with bachelor’s degrees in marketing and history.
Heather Richardson is AMR’s new accounting coordinator. She supports finance functions for multiple AMR association partners. Previously, Richardson owned her own company providing accounting services to small businesses. She is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a degree in accounting.
Nathan Liang has joined the team as AMR’s web developer, focused on developing web applications for both AMR and its association clients. Previously, Liang spent three years as a web applications developer at a local software company. He has bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer science from the University of Kentucky.
