Senior Policy Analyst
Description:
AMR seeks a highly motivated & organized individual to serve as a Senior Policy Analyst for one of its national, state government-based, client associations. Duties include supporting association committees & work groups; researching and writing issue briefs, position papers, proposals & testimony on a variety of public policy issues; preparing & conducting member surveys; developing & maintaining positive relationships with strategic partner organizations; and managing special projects as required.
Summary:
Reporting to the Association Director, the Senior Policy Analyst works with the Association Director and other staff members to provide policy analysis and expertise for the assigned association(s), and to support the business initiatives and goals of AMR. The Senior Policy Analyst serves as a resource for the association, members, and interested parties outside the association and provides positive and professional liaison support to all internal/external clients.
