Lexington, KY – December 4, 2009 -- AMR Management Services (AMR), a full-service association management company, is pleased to announce the following addition to the company team:
AMR has hired Mattie Conkwright, CPA to serve as Controller. Mattie will be responsible for the overall financial functions of the company and she will also serve as Controller for our association partners. She will oversee budget management, financial performance, tax and audit compliance, relationship management with outside financial institutions and investment firms, and provide advice on financial issues.
Mattie brings more than 20 years of accounting and financial management services to this position. Most recently, Mattie served as Controller for the Kentucky School Boards Association in Frankfort, KY. Prior to that she served as a Tax Accountant at Dulworth, Breeding & Karns, an accounting firm located in Lexington, KY. Mattie earned her Bachelors of Science in Accounting from the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY and became a CPA in 1990. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Kentucky Society of Certified Public Accountants.
